How can I open IE at the page I want?

Add an Address Bar to your TaskBar in Internet Explorer

Save time when opening IE by adding the Address Toolbar to your Windows TaskBar (you must have Active Desktop running for this to work).

Right click the TaskBar and select Address from the toolbars menu. You will now see a text box where you can either type the address you want or select from a list by clicking the drop down arrow on the right hand side of the box.
