August 22, 2008, Newsletter Issue #270: Copy styles from another Excel workbook

Tip of the Week

If you have the styles you want to use in a different Excel workbook, then there is no need to create them again. Open both workbooks and select the one you want to copy the styles to from the Window menu. Choose Style from the Format menu and press merge. Select the workbook which you want to copy styles from and press OK. All styles from the source workbook will be copied into the destination workbook.

Please note: Please use carefully - any style which shares the same name as one from the source workbook will be overwritten.
