Tip of the Week

When presenting with PowerPoint in SlideShow view, there are times when you want to get the attention of the audience on you rather than on your presentation.

In days of yore (when exactly was yore?) you would turn off the OHP, or cover it with a piece of paper if you were really technical.

PowerPoint gives you two really useful tools to help out in this situation - which one you use will depend on your surroundings.

To make the screen go blank during a presentation, press the B key (b for blank you see). Alternatively, to make the screen go white, press the W key (w for, well you can probably work it out now).

To bring the screen back to normal, just press the relevant key again (B or W).

Have a good week.

Michael.
