Tip of the Week

When you`re working in PowerPoint, there are a number of things you have to do regularly which seem to be more time consuming than they have to be.

Adding a new slide is a great example of this - you often need to do it and most of the time, you will want a slide with the same format as the current slide.

So why does PowerPoint force you to choose a slide layout every time you need a new slide? Only Bill knows, but with this week`s shortcut, you can solve the problem for yourself.

To quickly add a slide in PowerPoint with the same layout (bulleted list or chart or whatever) as the current slide, hold down Shift and click the New Slide button.
