Charts are really simple to create. If that sounds a little glib, then let me say it in a slightly different way:

Charts are really, amazingly, wonderfully, fantastically truly simple to create.

If you still need convincing, then select some data on any worksheet (ideally with row and/or column headers included) and press the F11 key.

That`s that done then.

Modifying charts is where the mystery really seems to descend and I`ve never really worked out why. The times I`ve come across users who whenever they wanted to change the data a chart was based on would simply start again.

While it works, and if charts are so easy to create, then you could possibly argue that it it`s nothing to worry about, but I`d disagree.

Whenever you want to change the set of data which a chart is based on, then I`d consider using this weeks tip..........
