September 15, 2006, Newsletter Issue #172: Reorganise the rows in your table in MS Word

Tip of the Week

Reorganising the rows in a table in MS Word can be a confusing and clumsy business. While you can drag and drop, itīs difficult to be confident of what will happen when you let go of the mouse.

You can move a row of a table up and down without even having to select it first - just do this.

Hold down the Alt and Shift keys and use the up and down arrows to move the row.
