Tip of the Week

A quick formatting tip this week. When choosing the required number format for a cell, there are generally two options:

1) Select Cells from the Format menu, choose the Number tab and select the format you require.
2) Use one of the three Number format buttons on the Formatting toolbar (Currency, Percentage and Comma/General)

Option 1 gives you full access to all number format types, however it can take a while. Option 2 is quick but you are limited to the three options mentioned.

The three options on the toolbar are regularly used, however so are a few other types and this week`s tip gives you a shortcut to access one of those others...
